A 25-year-old Lansing woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Monroe County early Sunday, Oct. 25, Michigan State Police said.
Troopers from the MSP Monroe Post responded around 2:37 a.m. to Ida West Road near Summerfield Road in Summerfield Township, according to the agency’s Oct. 25 release.

The Lansing woman, a passenger in the Escape, was pronounced dead at the scene. The release did not identify her.
The Escape’s driver and another passenger were taken to Toledo Hospital with injuries police described as not life-threatening. Two passengers in the Bronco were released at the scene.
State police said alcohol was suspected to have contributed to the crash. The release did not identify anyone suspected of alcohol involvement.
Ida West Road was closed for several hours during the investigation.
The MSP Traffic Crash Reconstruction Unit, Summerfield Township Fire Department, Monroe Community Ambulance and Monroe County Sheriff’s Office assisted. The investigation was continuing when MSP issued the release.
